Wake up and enjoy your coffee or a peaceful breakfast on the large walk out deck overlooking the sunrise on St. Joe Bay. Enjoy the convenience of docking your pontoon or flat bottom boat (water averages 2-3 feet at the end of the dock) at the end of our 100-yard dock just feet from the channel. No need to to take your boat out of the water after each day on the bay with this home. This dock is shared with only two other homes. If you have a larger boat, there is plenty of parking at the house each night - even under the home so it is protected from the elements.
The Cape bike path runs right past the driveway entry, and public beach access is a short walk, bike or drive away (see photo for public beach access route). Even better you can walk to Trading Post, Weber Doughnuts, Ice cream shop, Peachy's, Skullys and St Joe Shrimp Co.! Bay Watchin' is truly one of the best values in all of Cape San Blas!!
Love scallops?? You'll find a thriving scallop population right in Bay Watchin's back yard! The 2023 scallop season runs from August 16th - September 25th. You can scallop right from the dock and regularly harvest your limit with a little work!
Additional amenities include washer/dryer in home, high speed wireless internet, 65" flatscreen smart TV in living room with HULU Live provided for free or you can log into your favorite TV apps. Smart TV's provided in Master and Queen bedrooms as well.
Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom - King bed. Large walk in closet. Sliding glass door leads onto the back deck with amazing views of St. Joe Bay.

A Great Stay!!
We had a great time! Wonderful job with the remodel and furnishings. This was also, by far, the best stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed in!! We even brought baking sheets this year because of not having what we needed at past rentals, but we didn’t even need it! This home had everything!

Best Rental House Ever!
We have booked at a lot of places in the past, but never came across a rental house that was as cleaned and fully stocked kitchen/pantry as this rental home! Everything you can possibly ever need is in this kitchen! The beds were so comfortable to sleep in and we could tell that everything in this house was meticulously picked out. The house has a dock that is shared with two other homes but there were plenty of room for everyone! Our kids enjoyed going into the bay and snorkeling for sea creatures. The owner was great to work with and super flexible! Will definitely book this house again in the future. Thanks Kyle for sharing your rental property with us and we will definitely book this house again in the future!

We had a great stay at Bay Watchin.' The house was newly remodeled and everything was very clean and stylish. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was one of the most well-equipped of any rental we've been in. Had a couple of minor issues throughout our stay, and Kyle was incredibly responsive and attentive. The house is a short walk (just under half a mile) to Weber's Donuts, the ice cream shop, and the Trading Post. The dock is great for fishing and putting in kayaks. We'll be back!

First Time to the Cape!
Property is well equipped! The linens were excellent. My dog loved walking out to the bay, we did it every morning for a beautiful sunrise. Kyle was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed.

Wish we stayed longer!
This was our first experience staying on the bay side and we couldn’t be more happy about the decision to try this newly renovated home with a dock. We rented kayaks from Scallop Cove and paddled them home. We had an amazing time on the bay! The home (especially the kitchen) was so incredibly well stocked we wished we had planned to stay longer to get more use out of everything offered. We will be back!

Wonderful Trip
We just returned from our first trip to the Cape. We were not disappointed! We wanted a safe, social distancing trip that was relaxing. The house was wonderful. Exactly what we wanted/needed. The house had just about everything you needed for your stay, including spices for cooking and even an insta-pot. The views were nice, and it was nice to be able to fish from the pier. We had good luck, catching red fish, trout, a pin fish, and even a few puffer fish.. We were also able to see stingrays, horseshoe crabs, bald eagles and other wildlife there from the pier as well. Skully's is right next door and their gumbo and shrimp boil are amazing. The beach access was a quick drive down the road as well. While there we also rented a pontoon boat and went to the tip of the Cape. We all enjoyed the boat -even our dog. If you have the chance to rent one you won't regret it and is a great way to see the tip. The horseback riding on the beach is also a must do for any horse lover. We had a wonderful week. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home. We can't wait to return.

Amazing Vacation
We just returned home from our trip at the Cape, and it was AMAZING! One of the best parts of our getaway was the wonderful home! The views from the bay were gorgeous and having access to the dock made fishing so much fun for our girls. The home had just the right amount of space for our family and two dogs. It was impeccably clean and had everything we needed to cook meals and grill out! We would definitely stay here again!!

Scallop Season
This is the first time to stay at Bay Watchin and it was very nice! Supplied with everything you could need! Very clean and spacious. Perfect view of the bay and the sunset! Enjoyed playing with the neighbors dogs and cat too! Nice to have a dock there for your boat! Will plan to stay again!

What a Beautiful View!
We loved the layout of the house. It was just perfect. The view every morning was absolutely beautiful. Our guys loved the dock right there so that they could just jump in and go. We will DEFINITLY book this house again!!!

Great House on the Bay
Location was great- on the bay but we were able to walk across the street and cut thru to the beach. House was perfect for 4 of us plus the dog. Nice side yard to play football and frisbee. Enjoyed the kayaks that we used off the dock in the backyard. Owner was quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay here again

Cape San Blas at it's Best!!
We loved our stay at this awesome bay side home. It was very clean, well stocked and the views were amazing. The owner was very quick to respond to my many crazy questions. I highly recommend this home. We had 6 adults and the home was perfect. One word of caution…enter the driveway slowly…a little tricky at first. Fishing was amazing…trout, red drum, puffer, catfish and some sharks to mention a few. Our family loves nature so this location was amazing. The sunset from the dock was beautiful. Short drive to St. Joseph Peninsula state park. Fun was had by all. Thanks Kyle for allowing us to stay in your home.

Great home, great location, stunning sunrises
We loved staying at this house. It felt very private and quiet. The dock is very narrow and fun to take a walk on. My husband loved fishing right off that dock. The house is located very close to the seafood store, the donut shop and the Trading Post. Best of all, our feet were not black when walking barefoot around the house - that means they hire a really good cleaning service. In the mornings, you can watch the sunrise right on the balcony. And in the evening, you can watch the moon over the bay to the sound of a million frogs. So relaxing! I'd definitely stay there again.

We loved staying at this house. It felt very private and quiet. The dock is very narrow and fun to take a walk on. My husband loved fishing right off that dock. The house is located very close to the seafood store, the donut shop and the Trading Post. Enjoying St. Joe Bay on Cape San Blas
I never knew that I would prefer the bay to the beach, but it's the case here! The setting is pristine, with a great dock that you can enjoy the water right off of or in our case, we just put our boat at the dock for the week and tried out all of the sandbars we could make time for! The house and deck were in perfect condition, the beds were very comfortable, the AC was very good at it's job, and the house is within walking distance to a couple of the attractions on the island like Skully's and Webers/Ice Cream/Store. Cape San Blas was more wild than I expected, not a bad thing, but just something to know about the cape as a whole - we got to see a lot of wildlife: 2 alligators (one chasing a turtle), a cottonmouth, and a pigmie rattler. In the bay, there were stingrays, sand dollars GALORE, lots of fish, and crabs. It was a great spot and I highly recommend it!

We had 21' foot "Bay Boat" so enjoyed ability to leave the boat in the water and go fish whenever we felt like it. The house was clean and well equipped. Also did a little bike riding on path parallel to main road. Cape San Blas is a special place - but could use more restaurants.

FANTASTIC PROPERTY
Lovely home that was beautifully decorated with quality furniture. The kitchen exceeded my expectation with nice pots, pans, tableware and many utensils. The view of the bay from the back deck was stunning and the side yard was awesome for walking the pups. The dock was the icing on the cake! We can't wait to go again!
