The Space:Welcome to Blame It on the Sunset, a beautiful home nestled along the peaceful pondfront in Barrier Dunes.
This charming retreat offers a comfortable living room, perfect for family game nights or unwinding after a day of adventures.
From the well stocked kitchen to the dining area, with seating for six, this home provides a great space for shared family meals.
Leading from the kitchen level, you’ll ascend to the main living area. Here, you’ll find The Captain’s Quarters, the spacious master suite with a king bed and an attached bath for ultimate privacy and comfort. As you continue down the hall, you'll pass the laundry area, leading you to the queen bedroom, which also has its own attached bath.
From this floor, a spiral staircase takes you up to a cozy loft area, offering two twin beds and a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the views.
Step outside to enjoy the outdoor shower after a day at the beach, or explore the wonderful amenities that Barrier Dunes has to offer. Take a dip in one of the two community pools, including a Gulf-front pool with stunning views.
Enjoy serene views of the pond, where you can watch turtles at play, let the kids play on the playground, or take a short stroll to the beach for a day of relaxation by the water.

Your reservation includes a $250 credit for beach gear! Choose from bikes, coolers, beach chairs/umbrellas, beach wagons, kayaks, paddleboards, and more. Best part, its delivered to the unit and is waiting for you upon your arrival.
Bring your furry friends along! This pet-friendly property warmly welcomes dogs for an additional fee of $150 per dog (maximum of two). Breed approval required—contact the office for details.

It was a nice getaway. Even though it wasn’t directly on the beach you literally just drive inside the neighborhood to park at the country club and a nice and very short boardwalk takes you right on to the beach. You don’t feel wore out getting down to the beach or leaving. The neighborhood is super quiet which was nice! The home was very clean to be a dog friendly home….. we didn’t even see hair from other animals. Our dogs are non-shedding so we prefer no hair but wanted to bring our dogs. No hair was found and everything was extremely clean!

Location is great and perfect space for us and 3 kids! Wish there was another bathroom on top level or mid level that accessible without having to go through bedrooms. Refrigerator was leaking and ice machine e kept breaking. The beds were old and squeaky and kitchen and bathrooms need updates. Overall great location and we had a beautiful time!

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time in this beautiful condo! This is our second time staying in Barrier Dunes in Cape SanBlas. The community is great! We enjoyed the pool by the condo and we loved our time on the beach which was just a short walk around the corner and down the street. There’s pickle ball courts too. This condo is right across the street from the playground- perfect if you have little ones! We have teens and grown young adults and we all had plenty of space. We enjoyed feeding the turtles right out the back door and the outdoor shower is great when returning from the beach. Highly recommend! We extended our stay by a night and Elizabeth was very responsive and friendly.A
